Sway
About this performance
Sway has always felt made for saxophone. That relaxed Latin groove gives the melody plenty of room to breathe, and the real challenge is less about the notes than getting the phrasing to sit comfortably inside the rhythm. For this version, I’ve kept the tune front and centre and let the groove do most of the work. It’s a fun one to play, but it still needs a light touch if you want it to sway rather than rush.
