How to Play
Sway has always felt made for saxophone. That relaxed Latin groove gives the melody plenty of room to breathe, and the real challenge is less about the notes than getting the phrasing to sit comfortably inside the rhythm. Start with the pulse, keep the sound light, and let the melody sit inside the groove rather than pushing ahead of it.
I’m working on a short guide to help you get the feel, phrasing and timing of “Sway”, along with practical technique tips to help make the tune easier to play. I’ll add it here as soon as it’s ready.
